The Parish Council had some concerns with regard to the Four Houses Corner Caravan Site application as follows:

  1. The actual number of people that would be on the site (especially with regard to the DEPZ (Detailed Emergency Planning Zone) around AWE);
  2. Site security;
  3. The overall cost of the decontamination of the previous site;
  4. The on-going costs of maintaining the site (which seemed to be disproportionate for the number of people and facilities provided)

4.Other outstanding issues from previous meetings

  1. Permitted size of house extensions (under current planning regulations);
  2. WBC CIL funding for the playpark;
  3. Removal of black bin liners from Island Farm Road;
  4. Parish Plan
  5. Koi Carp Shop

 5.Review of Post/ Any Other Business

The date of the next Parish Council Meeting is Thursday 28 September at 7pm, Sulhamstead & Ufton Nervet Village Hall
